About Comics is not a mainstream comics publisher, nor an alternative comics publisher.Our goal is to publish good comics and material about comics, and we are open to the full range of comics material. Comics has great works of many styles and genres. The About Comics line includes both new works and good material brought from the past to new audience.

Nat Gertler, founder of About Comics, has over a decade of experience in the comics field, writing comics for literally dozen of publishers including DC, Image, and Archie. In 1999 he was nominated for the coveted Eisner Award in the category Talent Deserving Wider Recognition, for his work on the alternative superhero miniseries The Factor.
